Students will work with LEGO Mindstorms kits to create unique robots. They will learn the basics of LEGO robotics, learn how to design and construct a robot for competition. Students will also learn basic engineering concepts, such as gear ratios and structural integrity. They will also program the robot to complete advanced and automated tasks without human control. No prior experience in LEGO or LEGO Mindstorms is necessary.
Who should join LEGO RoboCamp 2012?
The summer camp is perfect for students who are aged 9 to 13 (usually grades 5 through 8).
