Students will work with the VEX Robotics system to build robots from metal. They will learn advanced engineering concepts, autonomous programming for competition, and develop techniques and strategies for manual, human-controlled operation. Students do not need prior experience, but they should have basic scientific knowledge as this camp will seek to take the classroom topics and standards and apply them in a fun, engaging, and hands-on way.
Who should join VEX RoboCamp 2012?
This camp is perfect for students who are age 12 and older (usually grades 7 and up). Please note that students who complete the LEGO RoboCamp will be given priority in admission to VEX RoboCamp 2012.
When is VEX RoboCamp 2012?
It will be held at dates to be announced (Monday to Thursday). RoboCamp starting and ending times are to be determined.
